Varsity jackets span quite a wide range of different types and stylres. We used to call them just baseball jackets, but we have since learned that this description is a bit narrow to say at least. There are varsity jackets for so many different types of disciplines, not even all athletic. The real gems are becoming really hard to find, but we keep digging and finding them. This early 1960s grey and red jacket is just another proof of that. The outer is fully made out of wool and sports a few nice patches. The orignial light golden liner is still there and despite a few pinholes the jacket is in great shape for its age.
