A stunning globe made by the American globe manufacturer Hammonds in the early 1930s. This globe has a more modern less 'old world' feel to it when compared with its European counterparts of the same era. The colors are bright and vibrant and the bakelite base is holding up the chrome rim in an elegant construction. All in all a great globe which would have been an eye cather as well in the 1930s as today.
