Eddie Bauer Down Jacket

Curated Vintage Collection

Eddie Bauer is quite a name in down jackets. He opened up his own shop in downtown Seattle in 1920 when he was only 21 himself. In 1940 he patented the first quilted down jacket. He also made down jacket for the US Army and was the first one to ever have a named specs label. Down jackets and some other typical high quality outdoor style clothing is what the brand has become famous for. This is just such a jacket. Dated ca. 1960s this jacket is in mint condition apart from a light stain on the lefthand pocket which is barely visible. The jacket features a Talon zip and there are no 'down leaks'. A great piece with quite some history to it.
