This hat is modelled after a US Army 1930s Daisy Mae hat. This hat was originally issued to the CCC The Civilian Conservation Corps that operated from 1933 to 1942 in the U.S. as part of the New Deal for the unemployed, and later used during WWII as the barracks working denim outfit. The hat was originally made from denim with contrasting white stitching or green herringbone twill. These modern replicas are made according to the original pattern but sport a variety of different colors. This version is done in one of the coolest camo patterns ever, the Tiger Camo used in South East Asia before, during and after the Vietnam War.
