Here's one of the most gorgeous examples of the famous and highly sought-after vintage German School Charts by Jung, Koch & Quentell. This great chart depicts all one needs to know about the chestnut. Centered in the image we see, what we call the ‘candle’, which is in fact its full blossoming flower. Alongside it, various stages in the life of the chestnut are shown. The whole piece is skilfully arranged. When we saw this print for the first time, it was love at first sight.
